Typographical Errors

In the event that a RU Recovery Ministries product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, RU Recovery Ministries reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. RU Recovery Ministries reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, RU Recovery Ministries shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Term; Termination

These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by RU Recovery Ministries without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

RU Recovery Ministries may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to RU Recovery Ministries.

Miscellaneous

Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the state of Illinois, U.S.A., without regard to choice of law provisions, and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of RU Recovery Ministries products) shall be in the state or federal courts located in Winnebago County, Illinois. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of RU Recovery Ministries products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. RU Recovery Ministries failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. RU Recovery Ministries may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.

Use of Site

Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a RU Recovery Ministries or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the site any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law. You may not upload commercial content on the site or use the site to solicit others to join or become members of any other commercial online service or other organization.

Participation Disclaimer

RU Recovery Ministries does not and cannot review all communications and materials posted to or created by users accessing the site, and is not in any manner responsible for the content of these communications and materials. You acknowledge that by providing you with the ability to view and distribute user-generated content on the site, RU Recovery Ministries is merely acting as a passive conduit for such distribution and is not undertaking any obligation or liability relating to any contents or activities on the site. COPPA

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) specifically aims to protect the privacy of children under the age of 13 by requesting parental consent for the collection or use of any personal information of the users. Our websites do not target market to children or anyone under the age of 18. We do not collect any personal or non-personal data on anyone under the age of  13.

What information do we collect?

  • We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature.

The term “outside parties” does not include other RU websites. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the “My Account” section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.

To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the “My Account” section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.

What are your data protection rights? GDPR

The right to access – You have the right to request Our Company for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

Ordering

Once you have clicked on the “confirm purchase” button, it might not be possible to edit or cancel your order. If you want to change some parameters, Customer addresses, etc., please call us immediately to see if such an option is available in your account. We are not bound to make such modifications in your order, but we will do our best on a case-by-case basis.

Shipping

Order(s) will be processed in our system within 24 hours from when it is received (excluding weekends or holidays). You should receive an email once your order has been processed. Your order should arrive within 5-10 business days when shipping to the lower 48 states. (US territories are shipped using USPS mail and there are no discounts available for shipping.) When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates based upon the availability of your item(s), shipping method selected, and your shipment’s destination. Our shipping charges are determined by the total weight of your order, excluding applicable sales tax and drop ship fees. Some Apparel and Merchandise Products are packaged and shipped separately and may take longer than other items in your order. Apparel and Merchandise is Printed On Demand and can take 2-7 Business Days For Production With the Exception During Holiday Seasons 4 – 10 business day production. Mailing to Prison/Jail Institutions: Due to the variety of products that prisons will not accept, RU Recovery Ministries is not responsible for products not delivered once the product is received by the institution. The sender ultimately is responsible to know the rules & regulations for locations receiving our products, as this varies by institution. Shipping within the lower 48 United States is done through UPS and USPS. With UPS shipping PO Box Addresses are not accepted. Shipping anywhere else outside of the lower 48 United States is provided by USPS.

Returns Policy

We always want you to be satisfied with your purchase from RU Recovery Ministries. In the event that a return is necessary, please be sure to use the following guidelines so that we can ensure prompt and proper handling of your return.

Please note that digital downloadable products are non-refundable.

IMPORTANT! It is very important that you contact our returns department to receive a RETURNS AUTHORIZATION NUMBER before returning ANY merchandise. Any merchandise received without this number will not receive credit. The number to call is 815-986-0460 and ask for Shipping Manager.

Oops! Our Mistake

If you have received merchandise which is defective, or was shipped in error, we will supply you with a special package return label. Using this label will allow you to return the merchandise at no cost to you. Please be sure to include with your package any appropriate paperwork, such as the packing slip which accompanied your order. We will then replace the item or credit your account accordingly.

Overstock

This portion of our policy only applies to authorized resellers of our products and merchandise. If you desire to either return overstocked or unwanted merchandise, or to exchange an item, please note the following will be strictly enforced conditions in order for your return to be accepted and credited:
  1. Out-of-print items and special orders are not returnable.
  2. Returned merchandise must be clean, sellable stock, free of dealers’ marks/labels.
  3. A 10% restocking fee will be charged (except for exchanges).
  4. Any personalized merchandise (such as imprinted Bibles) cannot be returned for credit unless it is defective or a packing error.
  5. Returns not meeting these criteria will be neither acknowledged nor credited.
  6. Please do not use newspaper as packing material, because the newsprint will rub off onto the items.
  7. Freight is nonrefundable.
If you are not an authorized reseller of RU Products any returns under these conditions will not be accepted.

Product Specific Policies

These policies apply to specific types of products and services.

Event Tickets

All cancellation requests must be received prior to 30 days before the conference/event. Cancellations made within 30 days of a conference will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the cut-off date. Registration is not complete without payment in full. Payment at the door will incur a higher registration fee. In order to best serve you, we ask that you register with the full intent of attending our event. You may substitute other attendees by calling our office. If no other substitution is available for you, provided you notify RU by email to weneedu@reformu.com before online registration closes, we will send you the conference theme book, along with sessions from the conference, to enable you to take part in the conference in your absence. You can also exchange your ticket for a new ticket to a different event on our calendar. Exchanges will be a ticket for a ticket with no difference refunded.

Downloads Policy

All downloadable products offered on this website whether free or for sale are protected by copyright and owned by RU Recovery Ministries. Distribution of downloaded materials is strictly forbidden whether as a file, physical media copies, or through any sharing technologies. Downloads are offered for the use of the purchaser alone unless otherwise stated. Hot-linking is also strictly forbidden. Abuse of downloads offered on this website could result in the suspension of your account or legal action if copyright laws are broken. Downloadable digital products are non-refundable.

Apparel & Merchandise

Replacement of Products and credits to the customer’s account for Products claimed as damaged or not received are subject to RU’s investigation and discretion.

The risk of loss for such items passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier. It is your responsibility to file any claim with a carrier for a lost shipment if carrier tracking indicates that the Product was delivered. In such case RU Recovery Ministries will not make any refunds and will not resend the Product.

RU Recovery Ministries will review replacement/return requests only if (a) there is a missing or broken Product or be a print error if RU receives a complaint within 30 days from the day the Product was delivered or within 30 days after the estimated delivery date, if the Product is missing.

Some Apparel and Merchandise Products are packaged and shipped separately and may take longer than other items in your order. Apparel and Merchandise is Printed On Demand and can take 2-7 Business Days For Production With the Exception During Holiday Seasons 4 – 10 business day production.

Most apparel and merchandise items are Printed OnDemand and shipped separately and do not qualify for free shipping.
