RU Recovery Ministries is a faith-based addiction recovery organization that started in Rockford, IL, as a local class. It has expanded to churches and institutions across the country and into several countries. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization governed by a board of directors. We are funded by members and people like you.

Grounded in faith, community, and personal growth, RU guides individuals from despair to deliverance, offering a path to freedom, healing, and lasting change. With a commitment to compassion, integrity, and the power of faith, RU stands as a trusted ally in the fight against addiction.

What We Do

RU Recovery™ provides individuals struggling with addiction a holistic approach to recovery rooted in faith, compassion, and community support. By embracing our RU Recovery Journal, the RU 10 principles of faith-based recovery, and the Fruits of the Spirit, all found in our complete program curriculum, participants experience sobriety, real victory, restored relationships, and a newfound sense of purpose and hope.

Recovery Shop
Over 400 studies have been conducted on the role of faith in addiction recovery and these studies have found a success rate of 40%-60% in most faith-based programs. This is significantly higher than the success rate of programs that do not incorporate faith or spirituality into their programs.
