The Opioid epidemic in our nation has become a crisis, and President Trump has declared this to be a National emergency. This call-to-action brings great opportunity for RU Recovery to make known that Jesus Christ is the cure to every addiction.
RU Recovery is ready to show testimony after testimony of Hope and Recovery to the lost and addicted of our country. We want to share how countless people have been freed from addiction; regained their families and marriages, and have been spared jail sentences—all because of the transforming power and victory of Jesus Christ!
That being said, RU Recovery is partnering with local chapters, and other faith-based programs, to hold rallies in a grassroots effort called, “Faith-Based Recovery For America™”.
Our first rally will be held in Ohio, one of the battlegrounds in this epidemic. Ohio Representative Ron Young will be sponsoring this event Tuesday, September 19, on the West Lawn of the Statehouse in Columbus from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
There will be several guest speakers, some of which include: Congressman Warren Davidson, and State Representatives Tim Ginter, Kyle Koehler, and Mark Romanchuck. There will also be several community leaders speaking that morning along with testimonies from people who have been freed from their addictions.
I invite each and every one of you to attend this rally so we can make a bold statement that we are here to help local communities in this battle against addictions.
