. . . And there were also with Him other little ships. Mark 4:36
When we sail in Christ’s company, we cannot assume we will always have fair weather, for great storms may toss the vessel which carries the Lord Himself. We must not expect to find the sea less boisterous around our little boat. His vessel has reached the heaven, and so shall ours.
I write you this email from within a storm. The last three years have been a financial storm that has tested our courage and faith. While other ministries have gone safely to harbor for lack of funding we have not sought safety but our little boat has remained on station, calling all hands on deck!
Why? Because never before have we found so many lives shipwrecked and souls in the water calling out for rescue
Now, after three years in the storm we find ourselves needing to pay our bills. We have remained in full Rescue Operation Mode for three years but now we need your help. Currently we are behind on our bills by $100,000. I have to admit; I am a little frightened right now and I need your help more than ever before. $100,000 seems like all the money in the world to me right now, but God has proven His faithfulness through you in the past and I call out to you now for whatever life line and provision you can send our way. Your gift of any amount ($25, $50, $100 or more) will make a difference.
The winds and waves will not spare us, but they will obey Jesus! Will you obey Him today and send us what He puts on your heart to give?
In this I rejoice and put my faith: Jesus was in the center of that weather-beaten company in that day of storm-He is with us now in our storm.“Donate Now!”
And through faith and trust in Him, our vessel shall reach The Haven, but not empty, it will be over-loaded and full of the saved and rescued.
Help us to do so.
I have included a nugget of Truth in this letter. I hope it is a blessing to you and I. Give Now and continue to pray that God will repay you for all the good you have done supporting His Work.
Over the many years of ministry I have found that issues involving a person’s relationship with their earthly father have left them unfinished men and women and this broken and hurtful past hinders spiritual growth.
We have to move on from this pain by first forgiving our fathers, for in many cases they could not give us what they themselves did not have. Second, we have to realize that if we are born again we have another Father. “The word used by Paul does not imply that God adopts children that are not his own, but rather that a second time He fathers His own, that the second time they are born-this time from above. That He will make Himself tenfold, yea, infinity their father.” (G. MacDonald, Unspoken Sermons). RU Blessed?
